"Where the Rivers meet" is a European project co-funded by the European Union within the Fundamental Rights and Citizenship Programme.

The main aim of the project is to fight against racism and xenophobia towards immigrant women, third country nationals, by using social theatre as a means of social integration in order to enhance mutual understanding and tackle stereotypes.

Objectives

The main objective of the project is the dissolution of cultural and genre racism towards women third country nationals within EU countries through the use of social theatre. The specific objectives of the project are: The creation of an international network dedicated to the eradication of sexual and cultural racism towards women third country nationals through the use of social theatre. Products

The main outcomes that will be achieved in the project are: 1. Social theatre facilitation workshops with the aim to introduce women third country nationals to the world of social theatre having a therapeutic effect on them at the same time, facilitating self expression and group cohesion in order to create original plays. 2. Original plays based on the lives of women third country nationals in the host countries.
